Your Concierge Therapy & Psychedelic Guide
Hope England, LCPC is a licensed trauma therapist, concierge coach, and psychedelic-assisted therapy guide.
Working remotely and in person with high achievers worldwide.
My work sits at the intersection of innovation, healing, and justice.
In my work, I blend IFS, Jungian depth psychology, somatic and nervous system work, and psychedelic-assisted therapy with cultural humility, anti-oppression frameworks, and a decade of learning from indigenous elders and plant medicine practices. I do not believe healing happens in a vacuum. What wounded you was rarely only personal, and what heals you rarely is either.
As the founder of Psychsomatica Therapy, the nonprofit Humor for Hope, and The Therapeutic Improv Institute, I bring each of those strands into every engagement. My approach is soulful, trauma-informed, fiercely compassionate, and built around the truth that real healing happens when body, mind, and soul are invited together.
I am also funny, which turns out to matter. The rooms where people finally tell the truth are usually the rooms where they are also cry and are allowed to laugh.
Education
I received my undergraduate degree from Columbia College Chicago and obtained my Master's degree from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Clinical Counseling. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.
My Approach
My approach is built on the foundation of cultural humility, somatic abolitionism, anti oppression, social justice, neurodecolonization, and trauma informed care. I offer compassionate warmth and equanimity. I believe every person is unique, and therefore I account for approach in each client. I offer a holistic, strength based, integrative approach, one that takes all aspects of life, past and present, into full consideration.
Experience
My clinical experience includes inpatient psychiatric hospital-based work, functional medicine clinics, ketamine clinics, Level I trauma center, ICU, burn clinics, refugee camps, and private practice work. I have also facilitated experiential therapeutic process groups for students, trauma survivors, terminally ill patients, and displaced populations in refugee camps.
Alternative Experience
In addition to my core psychology, I have studied various forms of alternative healing modalities with shamans, sacred plant medicines, mystics, indigenous healers, mediums, bodyworkers, energy healers, tea ceremony communities, and spiritual healers. My interests include mysticism, indigenous practices, the I Ching, and incorporating ritual and functional medicine into my work.
I am devoted to helping people release what no longer serves them, let go of who the world told them to be, and come home to themselves.
I am not here to fix you or hand you answers. I am here to walk beside you, ask the right questions, and hold space for the clarity, healing, and transformation already alive within you.
